These are various devices I custom-built for the X-ray department of a major west coast hospital group. They were fabricated at different times over many years. I worked collaboratively with an array of medical professionals to satisfy varied needs and rigorous specification and approval processes. Quality was paramount and durability was mandatory.

BOTTOM LEFT is the first device. It's used by the X-ray technician to position the patient’s leg(s) for a special, fixed angle X-ray of the kneecap. BOTTOM RIGHT is the 2nd generation of this device. UPPER LEFT is the most current version.

Versions evolved: from usage and feedback over time, different personnel had different ideas, they solicited my suggestions.

UPPER RIGHT is a device created to accept an X-ray plate either vertically or horizontally for X-rays of feet.

BOTTOM MIDDLE is yet another device to elevate the patient so that side view X-rays can be taken of the knees.
